Terminal 1 is the main airport terminal. It’s connected by Malpensa Express train from Cadorna station and Central Milan train station.

Public transport road:
Bus: STIE (tel: +39 0331 519000; www.stie.it) buses operate from both terminals to Milan Central Station. There are also services to Milan Linate Airport, Sesto and Torino, among other destinations.
Coach: The Malpensa Shuttle Air Pullman (tel: +39 0331 258 411; ticketonline.malpensashuttle.it) links both terminals to Milan Central Station, stopping on request at the conference and exhibition centre during Milan fair events (journey time: 50 minutes; fare: €10).
Taxi: Taxis are available from outside Arrivals at both terminals. The fixed fare to central Milan is €90.
Public transport rail:
Rail: The Malpensa Express (tel: +39 02 7249 4949; www.malpensaexpress.it) trains run direct services from Terminal 1 to Milan Cadorna Station (journey time: 30-40 minutes; fare: €11) and Milan Central Station (journey time: 45-50 minutes; fare: €10). There is a good selection of places to eat and drink in both terminals. These include plenty of Italian pizza/pasta restaurants and cafés serving coffee and cakes, as well as a specialist eateries serving a variety of cuisines.
Shopping:
There are numerous shops at Milan Malpensa Airport, including duty-free for non-EU passengers, newsagents and gift shops. Unsurprisingly, given Milan’s fame as a centre of fashion, there are plenty of clothes boutiques and jewellery retailers to explore, with the likes of Armani Jeans, Boggi, Bulgari and Burberry. For motorsport lovers, there are Ferrari merchandise outlets in Terminal 1.

There are chemists and first aid offices in both terminals. Interdenominational chapels are open to those seeking prayer, with Catholic mass held at certain times.
